Sales volumes of the company in the second quarter have increased by 61 % compared to the first quarter of 2004 and have come to 5,5 million hectoliters. Sales proceeds - 7,5 billion roubles. In comparison with the second quarter of 2003 sales volumes of the brewing company " Baltica " have increased by 14 %, that is twice as fast than the dynamics of the growth of all Russian beer market ( growth rate of the market in the second quarter of 2004 - 6,8 %). Such sizeable increase of sales has been expressed in a noticeable rise of the share of "Baltic" in the market, which has come to 22 % by the results for six months 2004. The increase of growth rates has been marked during all accounting period. So in June, 2004 the sales of the company have reached a record figure - more than 2 million hectoliters, the gain in relation to June of the last year has made 25 %. Marked dynamics is a natural result of the end of the basic stages of the re-structuring of the system of distribution, optimisation of the logistical streams, the updated marketing strategy, and the duly investments in developing of the sales of the brewing company " Baltica ".

The bank " Avangard " has involved the western financing to purchase barley for its own malthouses to the amount of $3 million. Means has been given by the banks Rabobank (Holland) and Danske Bank (Denmark) for the term of 270 days, the press-service of the Russian bank reports. During the period from June, 1, till July, 20, 2004 the bank "Avangard" has got more than $16 million from the western financial institutions. The basic bargains have been striked with the banks Banca Agricola Mantovana SPA (Italy), Banca Santader Central Hispano S. A. (Spain), Commerzbank AG (Germany), Credit Suisse (Switzerland), KBC (Belgium), Rabobank (Holland), Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG (Austria), San Paolo IMI (Italy), Vereins-und Westbank (Germany). For the same period the bank has canceled the credits of the foreign credit organizations to the amount of $15,5 million.

23.07.2004 Sales of drinks "Ochakovo" in the second quarter of 2004 have grown by 4,8 %
The company " Ochakovo " has summed up for the second quarter of 2004. In the second quarter of 2004 the Moscow beer-nonalcoholic combine " Ochakovo " sold 20,8 million decalitres of drinks, that 4,8 % more than for the same period of the last year. Sales volumes of beer in April-June have come to 14,9 million decalitres - 3,6 % more than the same indexes of 2003. Sales of soft drinks have increased by 15,6 % up to 3 million decalitres. The growth of sales in the group of soft drinks has amounted to 1,2 % - in the second quarter it has been sold 2,8 million decalitres of lemonades, drinks with juice, mineral and drink water and natural kvass. The totals of the second quarter are estimated positively in the company. " As a whole, for the first half-year 2004 sales volumes of the production of "Ochakovo" have rised by 4,5 % in comparison with the first six months of 2003. Undoubtedly, a reform of the system of distribution in Moscow and in Moscow region has yielded the first results, - the sales manager of " Ochakovo " Vyacheslav Merkulov has commented the results. - At such dynamics of sales we plan to have 5 % increase of the sales by the results of 2004 ".
